Experience the world’s highest summer toboggan run
The Alpine Coaster is a must-try summer attraction for thrill-seekers and lovers of spectacular high-mountain scenery! This alpine toboggan run offers a track of around one kilometre, packed with tight bends, dynamic undulations and sections running along the edge of cliffs, guaranteeing an adrenaline-fuelled descent reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h. Suspended more than 6 metres above the ground, you’ll glide over the slopes whilst enjoying spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
The fun is entirely in your hands thanks to an individual braking system, allowing you to adjust your speed to suit your preferences and comfort level. Located at an altitude of 3,000 metres, the Alpine Coaster is open only during the summer season, subject to snow conditions. - The Alpine Coaster ticket is not included with the ski lift pass.

Tickets & payment
- A separate ticket must be purchased to use the Alpine Coaster.
- Tickets can be purchased directly at the toboggan run’s starting point, at the Scex Rouge summit station.
- Prices are shown below. When you buy a ticket for 5 runs, the 5th is free.
Terms of access
- To ride alone, visitors must be at least 9 years old and at least 1.40 metres tall.
- The Alpine Coaster is not suitable for anyone with health conditions that could put them at risk.
- The Alpine Coaster is not suitable for children under the age of 3, even when accompanied by an adult.
Safety instructions
- Stopping on the toboggan run is prohibited.
- Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
- A safe distance must always be maintained from other toboggans on the run.
- In all circumstances, the instructions given by the toboggan run staff before setting off must be strictly followed.
Parking
- Paid parking at Col du Pillon, at a flat rate of CHF 5 per day, payable on site.
Access
- Access by post bus between Les Diablerets and Gstaad, via Col du Pillon.
- Access by shuttle bus (Glacier 3000 in winter, Diablobus in summer) from Les Diablerets, stopping at Col du Pillon.
- Access from Les Diablerets or Gstaad by car.
Gastronomy
- Several restaurants at Col du Pillon and on the glacier welcome visitors and offer traditional dishes.
