A dream stay in the Vaud region

Featuring picturesque alleys as well as a medieval castle that plays home to a museum dedicated to wine and vineyards, the town of Aigle invites visitors to discover the history of this beautiful region. Known above all as a wine-growing region, Aigle is reputed for its typical wines that can be tasted in one of the village’s many cellars or during a stroll through the vineyards.

The resort of Leysin above Aigle is reputed for its all-year sports offer and soothing nature. Kuklos, the famous revolving restaurant, has pride of place on top of La Berneuse. This is where visitors can enjoy a comforting meal while admiring the surrounding peaks. Downhill mountain bike slopes, climbing routes and via ferrata, the prime activity in summer, contend for the spotlight with the Leysin – Les Mosses – La Lécherette ski region that offers more than 100 km of slopes for all levels, in addition to freestyle skiing and its snowpark.

The charming village of Les Mosses attracts visitors by its authenticity. Omnipresent nature helps you to recharge your batteries. In summer, Lake Lioson, nicknamed “the pearl of the Alpine lakes”, makes for a lovely hiking destination. Every Sunday from June to August, the village comes alive with its market and flea market hosted by local artisans. In winter, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing outings allow you to explore this little piece of paradise in peace.
