Lavaux
Terraced vineyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Lavaux vineyards offer spectacular scenery nestled between the lake and the hillsides. This wine tourism route invites you to discover iconic wine-growing villages and meet the winemakers who are members of Vaud Œnotourisme, whilst exploring a rich cultural heritage.
MORNING
Start the day in the heart of the Lavaux vineyards, a UcNESCO World Heritage Site. Whether on foot or by bike, let yourself be carried along by the walks that wind their way through the terraced vineyards, with Lake Geneva as a backdrop. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, the Lavaux Express is a good option.
On your way, pop into a winery that’s a member of Vaud Œnotourisme to sample the region’s signature wines. At lunchtime, take a seat at Tout un Monde or the Hôtellerie de Châtonneyre, two charming establishments where you can enjoy local cuisine and Lavaux wines in an exceptional setting.

La Côte
Between the lake and the wine-growing villages
Situated between Lake Geneva and the foothills of the Jura, La Côte is the canton’s largest wine-growing region. This itinerary showcases the Vaudois way of life, the wine-growing villages and the iconic Chasselas grape variety.
MORNING
Set off on a stroll through the heart of the La Côte vineyards or follow the La Balade des Capites trail, a leisurely break where you can take in the scenery at your own pace. Round off the experience with a tasting at the Maison des Vins de La Côte, a true showcase of the region’s terroir where over 200 wines await your discovery.
To make the most of the moment, why not head to the Au Cœur de La Côte restaurant to sample the famous malakoffs, or treat yourself to a meal at one of the region’s fine restaurants?

Chablais
Vineyards und Alpes vaudoises
At the foot of the Alps, the Chablais region of Vaud combines distinctive terroirs, alpine panoramas and a rich wine-growing heritage. It is the perfect itinerary for those who wish to combine wine tasting with outdoor activities.
MORNING
Set off on a self-guided or guided gravel bike tour through the heart of the Vaud Alps, amidst alpine panoramas and terraced vineyards, or focus your tour on a ride through the vineyards of Chablais, amidst the renowned terroirs of Yvorne and Ollon, where a tasting at one of the Vaud Œnotourisme member winegrowers’ estates reveals the full richness of the local wines.
Extend your experience at the Château d’Aigle, home to the Vine and Wine Museum, before enjoying a stroll through the vineyards, a gourmet basket in hand, for a moment of pure pleasure surrounded by nature.

Côtes de l’Orbe, Bonvillars & Vully
Hidden gem vineyards and lakeside heritage
Less well-known, the vineyards of northern Vaud and Vully charm visitors with their authenticity, lakeside scenery and characterful wines. A perfect itinerary for a getaway off the beaten track.
MORNING
Let yourself be swept away by the diversity and tranquillity of northern Vaud and set off on a stroll through the vineyards of the Côtes de l’Orbe on foot or by gravel bike, or opt for a walk through the vineyards of Bonvillars, offering superb views over Lake Neuchâtel.
The experience continues with a cellar tour and tasting at one of the Côtes de l’Orbe winegrowers’ estates, before sitting down to a meal at a restaurant that is a member of Vaud Œnotourisme, such as L’Arboulastre, for a gourmet experience with a medieval twist.
