Aigle – Leysin – Col des Mosses
The town of Aigle is known for its medieval castle and typical wines, while the resort of Leysin offers sports and soothing nature in all seasons. Downhill mountain bike trails, climbing routes and via ferrata compete for a starring role with the Leysin – Les Mosses – La Lécherette ski area. The charming village of Les Mosses attracts visitors thanks to its authenticity and the multitude of hiking trails that allow them to explore its surroundings in peace.



Avenches and its region
The former capital of Roman Helvetia, Avenches holds one of the most important archaeological sites in Switzerland. Dominated by a square tower that plays home to the Roman Museum, the amphitheatre impresses with its size. It also remains Switzerland’s best-preserved amphitheatre. Apart from these treasures of the past, today’s village – which ranks among Switzerland’s most beautiful – charms visitors with its central covered shopping area, irregular staircases, a 13th century castle, medieval monuments, and historic buildings.
Echallens and its region
Being the wheat granary of the Canton of Vaud, Echallens has earned itself the pretty nickname of “city of wheat and bread”. With its folklore markets and local producers, the small village of Echallens exudes authenticity. This region invites you to explore the Vaudois-style art of living. On the menu: agritourism, cycling routes, hiking, castle visits, and gourmet getaways. In addition to selling their products on their premises, the farmers welcome holidaymakers for a night on the straw.






Lausanne
Known for its name of Olympic Capital, Lausanne combines the characteristics of a holiday destination and Mediterranean flair with a historic and trendy city. Overlooking Lake Geneva, the capital of the Canton of Vaud was initially built on the lake shores and then around its Gothic cathedral. Switzerland’s fifth largest urban area is on a par with other European cities thanks to its abundant cultural offer and a multitude of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs.
Montreux Riviera
What does Montreux Riviera have in store? To give anyone visiting this region a feeling of amazement and freedom that will make them want to stay or go back there! And it succeeds in doing so marvellously well! How? Thanks to its enchanting natural setting, a paradise for skiers, hikers and cyclists, its vineyards in Lavaux (a UNESCO World Heritage site), its authentic local products, picturesque castles and towns, lakeside beaches and modern towns as well as its museums and festivals.






Morges and its region
The shores of Morges have an undeniable power of attraction, but its old town is just as picturesque. How pleasant it is to take a stroll to explore them on market days! While the fortress overlooking the harbour recalls the region’s medieval past, Château de Vuillerens attracts visitors with its spectacular gardens. The Tulip Festival and the “Books on the Lakeside Promenades” add to the town’s attraction far beyond its borders. Many celebrities have taken up residence in the region, including actress Audrey Hepburn, who lived there for more than 20 years.
Moudon and its region
Founded by the Celts and occupied by the Romans, the town of Moudon passed into Savoyard and later Bernese hands before becoming Vaudois. Its Saint-Etienne church, the canton’s largest parish church, features radiant Gothic architecture and an ancient organ. The Brandons, a traditional carnival, and the Festival of Popular Music are the two major cultural events of the town in the Broye region. It’s also the starting point of many hiking routes.






Nord vaudois
Yverdon-les-Bains is renowned for its thermal waters conducive to relaxation. But there is more than that. Boasting menhirs, Roman mosaics, castles, and churches, the region has a rich heritage that testifies to a past with multiple influences. Many itineraries at the foot of the Jura as well as on its ridges, delight walkers, cyclists, and skiers. Gourmets appreciate local specialties such as PDO cheeses, truffles, Amandine de Sainte-Croix, and craft beers.
Nyon and its region
Originally a Roman colony founded by Julius Caesar, Nyon has continued to expand, remaining an important crossroads between Geneva and Lausanne. Its rich past can be discovered during guided tours as well as in its castles and museums. The town also hosts prestigious events such as the Paléo Festival and the Visions du Réel International Film Festival. Through all seasons, this region, which stretches from the lake to the peaks of the Jura, offers lovely getaways to fans of hiking, cycling, and skiing.






Payerne and its region
Payerne developed in the heart of the Broye Valley thanks to Switzerland’s largest abbey church in Switzerland. Built in the 11th century by Cluny monks, it is a masterpiece of Romanesque art. Visitors can explore it with an interactive tour or attend one of the regularly organised concerts there. The town is also famous for its entertainment centre called Payerneland as well as its proximity to the Grande Cariçaie nature reserve, Switzerland's largest lake marsh.
Pays-d'Enhaut
Pays-d’Enhaut comprises three mountain villages with a strong identity. Château-d'Œx hosts the International Hot-Air Balloon Festival every winter, while Rossinière and Rougemont feature architectural heritage and carved wooden chalets. The art of paper cutouts and the making of L’Etivaz Alpine cheese are living traditions in this region of the Prealps. The surrounding peaks offer a majestic backdrop to hiking excursions and hot-air balloon flights.






Vallée de Joux
Vallée de Joux is a preserved region, abounding with inspiring beauty. Its lakes and huge forest, which form an integral part of the Vaudois Jura Park, make it ideal for anyone seeking moments of relaxation. With its Nordic looks, this slice of heaven also attracts visitors with its cross-country skiing routes and water sports. Apart from its enchanting landscapes, Vallée de Joux is also the cradle of Swiss watchmaking and offers a delicious cheese specialty: Vacherin Mont-d’Or.
Villars – Gryon – Les Diablerets – Bex
Proud of its vineyards and salt mines, the town of Bex is the gateway to the Alpine resorts of Villars, Gryon and Les Diablerets, which are very popular with families. The ski area that connects the three resorts offers slopes suitable for all levels. There are also routes for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ski touring. Above Les Diablerets, Glacier 3000 offers a high-mountain experience accessible to all as well as a breathtaking view of 24 peaks that are more than 4,000 meters high.
