Deer Park

Bambi is not just a cartoon film star. In Leysin you can see deer gambolling in real life.

When out walking it’s quite common to come across dogs, even horses. However, you would normally need to be really lucky to see a deer. In Leysin however, spotting a deer couldn’t be easier, just take yourself down to the Suchet forest.

The deer park, accessible in all weathers, always makes for such a wonderful treat for the children. They can watch the deer frolicking freely in their large enclosure, hiding behind trees or grazing at their troughs to their heart’s content. It’s an ideal destination for a family walk.
