The GoldenPass Panoramic runs from Lucerne, on the shores of Lake Lucerne, to Montreux, passing through Interlaken and Château-d’Oex on the way. The real attraction of this 5-hr trip through Switzerland is the scenery. From lake to mountain, you take in the most stunning panoramic views such as the Pays-d’Enhaut mountains, Lake Geneva and the Lavaux vineyard terraces, a UNESCO world heritage site.
In addition to standard fully equipped carriages, the GoldenPass Line offers the chance to enhance the experience by travelling on its panoramic carriages with large windows or experiencing the elegance of the Belle Epoque in the GoldenPass Classic carriages dating from the early 20th century. Gourmet trips are also very popular: the Chocolate Train in the summer and the Cheese Train in the winter take you to the source of these typically Swiss products.
