Gruyères

For close to 800 years, the historic castle of Gruyères and its medieval town have shaped the region and attracted visitors.

Every year, thousands of visitors rediscover the noise that shoes make in this traffic-free town. Inside the fortified castle, you'll find the treasures once owned by the former Counts of Gruyères. There is also the H.R. Giger Museum, dedicated to the creator of Alien. In the village of Pringy, you will find as well the show dairy La Maison du Gruyère.
