Jenisch Museum Vevey
A splendid space where Picasso, Hodler, Vallotton, and many others coexist.
Open to all, the Musée Jenisch Vevey is an art museum - drawing, printmaking, painting - on a human scale, preserving and promoting six centuries of creativity and inviting visitors to participate in enriching experiences.
Created and run today by women, it boasts a rich permanent collection (Bocion, Courbet, Corot, Hodler, Vallotton, Picasso, Morandi, etc.), a special place dedicated to engraved art - the Pavillon de l'estampe, an evocation of Kokoschka's studio, exhibitions that can't be seen anywhere else, and innovative outreach initiatives.
It's a dynamic, inclusive museum that has the art of taking visitors on an authentic, lively encounter with the works of art. A special place for pleasure, emotion, knowledge and inspiration.
