Leysin - La Berneuse Cable Car

To take the cable car to the top of Berneuse is to set off on a wondrous escape.

Everyone loves the cable car ride that connects Leysin to Berneuse (2’048m). It’s a journey which opens up an amazing number of activity options in summer.

The Kuklos revolving restaurant, just a few short steps away from the arrival station, is unique in French-speaking Switzerland. Not only can you admire all the surrounding mountains as the restaurant gently rotates but you can also sample some wonderful cuisine.

Right at the top of Berneuse, a play area is a special delight for families while mountain bikers can get their thrills on the downhill trails and trekkers can choose from a variety of walking trails to suit all capabilities. Adventurers heading for the vertiginous Tour d’Aï via ferrata come here too.

The cable car is also the best way to get to the paragliding zone and to visit the educational trail dedicated to renewable energy sources.
