The Alexis Forel Museum invites visitors on a unique journey where heritage and contemporary art come together in the heart of the city of Morges. As the city’s oldest museum, it is housed in a remarkable 14th-century building. It is located in one of the richest and oldest examples of Morges’s civil architecture, seamlessly integrated into the medieval urban fabric. Listed as a historic monument and designated a Swiss cultural asset of national importance, the building alone is a must-see.

Upon passing through the gate, visitors discover a spectacular period inner courtyard, open to the public, a true architectural gem blending Gothic and Renaissance influences, with its elegant Italian-style galleries. The historic rooms of this well-preserved residence offer an immersion into several centuries of history, making the museum a true home inhabited by heritage.
