Sledging in Leysin

In the sports-oriented and family resort of Leysin, sledging gives everyone a perfect opportunity to have fun in winter.

For tiny tots, sledging is the ultimate winter sport that everybody can do. Once you get over that initial fear of the descent, it’s the sheer thrill of the slide that delights both young and old.

Leysin has 2 designated sledging locations. Opposite the ice rink a wide slope is sledging heaven for everybody who loves this winter time tradition. The Plan Praz ski piste also has a special sledging area. In both cases there’s a nearby café so you can enjoy refreshments and a break on the terrace.

Taking it to the next level, Leysin boasts an attraction that offers creative and crazy rides on ice ; the Tobogganing Park ! Colloquially known as snow tubing, this is the next best thing to the real bobsleigh where « freestylers » can launch themselves down steeply curving tracks on a rubber ring.
