Société Vinicole de Bex

From 01 Jan To 31 Dec 2026

The Société Vinicole de Bex was founded in 1905 and has over 70 members.

The wine-growing origins of the Bex region date back to Roman times, when the first vines were planted on three hillsides: the hill of Montet, the hill of Chiètre and Chêne-sur-Bex.

Today, about 80 ares of vines flourish on a chalky and gypsum soil with an aftertaste of gunflint. At the gateway to the Valais, under the influence of the foehn wind and the microclimate of the region, the vineyard produces a characteristic vintage whose reputation extends far beyond the borders of the commune.

Moreover, the Société Vinicole de Bex is one of the few associations in the canton of Vaud receiving more red than white wine.

The wine produced has the appellation Chablais AOC. Let's taste it!
