Swiss Museum of Games
Who said you can't learn things while having fun?
The Swiss Museum of Games, located in the stunning Château de La Tour-de-Peilz on the shores of Lake Geneva, invites visitors of all ages to dive into the fascinating world of games in all their forms. The temporary exhibition Planet Games, on view until March 2026, explores the link between play and contemporary environmental challenges by combining history, imagination, and sustainability. Immersive and interactive, it features over 150 games, including 25 video games to try. The completely redesigned permanent exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the cultures and eras of gaming. In addition to the exhibitions, the museum offers a specialized shop, an arcade room, and a board game lounge with free access, where guests can try out a wide variety of games while enjoying a coffee, tea, or a refreshing drink in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
