The Vallée de Joux counts several beaches suitable for swimming.
The Vallée de Joux offers several choice swimming and rest areas. Equipped beaches are found in Le Rocheray, Les Esserts-de-Rive, L’Abbaye, Les Bioux and Le Pont. More primitive beaches can be accessible on foot in La Pointe de sable (below the village Le Lieu) and the beaches at Brenet lake.
In the heart of the summer, water can get as warm as 24°C and the beaches are suitable for swimming and for water sports of all kinds.
