The hill of Châtel

From the top of Châtel you can enjoy a marvelous view of the plain, Lake Geneva , Lake Neuchâtel and the Alps.

The nature reserve of Châtel was created in 1968 by agreement of Pro Natura and the communes of L’Isle and Montricher. The area is remarkable because of its situation on a hill and its valuable territory, the variety of its flora and its role as refuge for a typical Jura fauna.
