Yverdon-les-Bains' beach

With its stretches of sand and wide green spaces, Yverdon-les-Bains offers one of the most attractive beaches on the Lake of Neuchâtel.

At 15mn on foot from the railway station and town centre, picnic tables, barbecues and children’s play areas are laid out on lawns under the shade of the trees. The more energetic can play beach volleyball on the available courts or play bubble football, a fun football game where players are wrapped from head to knees in a giant bubble.

The beach restaurant with its terrace offers family cuisine. For refreshments, ice-creams and snacks, two kiosks are open every day during the summer season.

The Y-Plage yacht club hires out pedal boats, stand up paddleboards, kayaks and windsurfing boards, as well as offering courses and organising activities for groups. The refreshment bar offers drinks and homemade ice cream from the region.
