47th International Ballet competition
From 04 Feb To 09 Feb 2019As a city of dance in Switzerland, Lausanne welcomes the rising stars in this discipline on the occasion of the Prix de Lausanne every year!
The international competition for young dancers between the ages of 15 and 18 attracts the brightest young talents in the dance world to the Théâtre de Beaulieu in Lausanne for nearly a week. The event acts as a springboard for these youngsters, who attend courses, rehearsals and coaching sessions with some of the biggest names in the discipline. All the activities and a conference are open to the public from Monday 4 to Thursday 7 February 2019. Residents of Lausanne can also attend the selection rounds on Friday 8 February and the famous final (Saturday 9 February), which is always eagerly awaited!
