BINDING ROOTS photo exhibition by Aimée Hoving

Patience and wonder merge at the heart of Aimée Hoving's artistic practice. The two series on display here, ‘Inflorescence’ and ‘Family Affair’, echo
an interior garden, where personal transformation occurs in tune with that of nature, and where light always manages to find its way through.

‘The photographer explores genetic mutation and how it is transmitted within her family, her multicultural roots, her childhood memories and the mother-daughter bond, while leaving unresolved enigmas hanging in her images.’ Justine Chapalay
