Bread oven of Rougemont
From 01 Jul To 12 Aug 2026Every Wednesday during the summer holidays, the ladies of the bread oven and Ti-Tell invite you to taste Rougemont’s famous pies!
In the heart of Rougemont, the 18th-century bread oven, restored for the village’s 900th anniversary, keeps tradition alive! During the school holidays, a passionate team brings this heritage to life by offering a selection of wood-fired artisanal specialties, available by order.
Every Wednesday at lunchtime, enjoy freshly baked oven bread made from a traditional black wheat recipe (CHF 5.–), along with a delightful variety of sweet and savoury tarts – all lovingly prepared.
For those with a sweet tooth: cream, apricots, pears and hazelnuts (CHF 15.–) will delight your taste buds.
For savoury lovers: cheese quiche (vegetarian), onion-hazelnut quiche (vegetarian), pizza or quiche Lorraine (CHF 17.–) are sure to please.
Many new culinary surprises await you throughout the season.
