Château de Mathod & Truffles
From 24 Oct To 12 Oct 2026Visit the Château Truffière and enjoy a truffle aperitif.
Visit the truffle farm at Château de Mathod and discover the history and cultivation techniques of this precious mushroom.
Admire the picturesque landscapes of the estate and then sample truffle products in elegant surroundings.
For the full experience, you can add a stay in a guest room at the Château, which won the Swiss Heritage 2024 award for the transformation of the riding hall.
Practical informations

For groups of 8 or more, additional tours can be organised on request during the truffle season, from September to January.

Equipment: good shoes, weather-appropriate clothing. The tour continues even in bad weather.

Note: Dogs are not allowed, even on a lead.

Participants: maximum 12 people (minimum 6 people).

Online registration and payment required up to 72 hours before the start of the tour.

The development of truffles depends largely on the natural elements and the weather. In the event of a shortage of truffles and in order to maintain the quality of the service, the organisers reserve the right to cancel the walk.
