Galerie du Temple in Château-d’Œx hosts an exhibition dedicated to the recent works of Anne Rosat, a major figure in the art of paper cutting. Honorary citizen of the commune, the artist has been practising this delicate craft for nearly sixty years and has contributed to renewing it with remarkable creativity and sensitivity.

Her compositions, created with patience and precision, reveal richly detailed and poetic worlds. Floral motifs, alpine landscapes and scenes of mountain life unfold throughout her works, where nature, animals and human figures coexist in harmonious compositions.

Presented through around forty pieces in different formats, the exhibition offers a glimpse into Anne Rosat’s artistic universe. Her work, filled with enthusiasm and serenity, celebrates the seasons, the joys and emotions of everyday life. A wonderful opportunity to discover or rediscover the work of a major artist from the Pays-d’Enhaut and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of traditional paper cutting.
