Night ski touring tuesdays in Villars
From 13 Jan To 08 Apr 2026Every Tuesday, ski touring on the slopes of Villars before descending by the light of a headlamp.
Every Tuesday, two routes connecting Roc d'Orsay to Villars are available for ski touring enthusiasts.
Two routes ranging from moderate to difficult are available: La Populaire and Les Bouquetins.
A third route, Le Grand Chamossaire, allows you to reach Grand Chamossaire from the summit of Roc d'Orsay.
On arrival, two restaurants welcome you for a well-deserved break before the descent!

Practical informations
Safety and recommendations
- This route is only accessible on Tuesday evenings during the winter season and depending on snow conditions.
- The ascent is free, without a guide.
- Access is permitted from 5.30 pm until 10 pm. From 10 pm onwards, the snow groomer begins its work in this area.
- The descent is only permitted on the following slopes: Grand Chamossaire, Bretaye-Orsay and Populaire de Villars. No other slopes or variants are open for descent during night skiing.
- A headlamp is mandatory, as the slope is not lit.

- Take the Roc d'Orsay cable car and begin your ascent from the summit towards Grand Chamossaire.
- Roc d'Orsay cable car: open until 9.30pm for pedestrians and ski hikers.
