The MMàE is first and foremost a story of passion. It was the passion of Charles Perrier and his son Jacques, two typewriter mechanics, who assembled an exceptional collection in Lausanne.
The museum presents legendary machines from the early days of industrial production in the 19th century and those that marked the 20th century right up to the advent of computers in offices and households.
