Avenches Beach

Avenches’ sandy beach is located on the edge of the campsite and is the ideal place for a relaxing day on the shores of Lake Murten.

Swimmers can enjoy access to the following facilities:
Diving platforms on stilts
Floating docks and diving boards
Shaded, green lawns
Changing booths, WC and showers
Health station (AED defibrillator at the “Restaurant de la Plage” and at the Camping reception)
Restaurant
Grocery store and snacks
Ice cream, crepes and waffles
Stand up paddle boards, canoes and pedal boats; all available for hire

Grilling is not allowed on the public beach in Avenches.
