Cave de La Charrue - Commugny

From 01 Sep 2022 To 01 Sep 2056

The Hermanjat family has been producing wines since 1872 in an enchanting setting between Lake Geneva and the Jura mountains.

The Hermanjat family has been growing and cellaring a dozen different vintage wines since 1872. Chasselas and Pinot Noir, Switzerland’s most popular grape varieties, are among them. But they also produce less well-known gems such as Pinot Meunier, a Pinot Noir that is vinified as a blanc de noir or as a sparkling wine.
The Cave de la Charrue has created a small bar that offers a tasting venue commensurate with its wines. It is open from Monday to Saturday. Customers can enjoy aperitif accompaniments in the form of home-made terroir products, some of which are made from the estate’s flour. So it's not surprising that the Hermanjat family has been certified by Vaud Œnotourisme.
Personalised activities are available to groups upon request: discovery workshops, the best wines to accompany cheese, tastings and painting with wine, etc. in the enchanting setting of the ancestral wine estate, either in the bar, the conservatory facing the vineyards, the courtyard or the beautiful, vaulted cellar.
