The caterer you have selected will be happy to serve you a glass of our sublty fruity Chasselas white wine.
White AOC Vaud wine (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée).
Some forty barrels have been placed in the first area of the underground cellars, the last of which is where Bonivard, the protagonist of Lord Byron’s famous poem, was chained up.
Now this wonderful Chasselas wine is being « aged and bottled at the castle » by winemakers Henri Badoux S.A of Aigle.
The 2011 Clos de Chillon was awarded a silver medal at the « Sélection des Vins Vaudois »!
