Cross-country skiing in the Villars-Gryon-les Diablerets-Bex region

In the heart of the magnificent Vaud Alps, Villars, Gryon and Diablerets are grooming their network of cross-country skiing trails for everyone!

As a forerunner of all snow sports, cross-country skiing has enjoyed a renewed interest over the past years due to its affordability, its connectedness to nature and its soothing effects.

LES DIABLERETS
At Les Diablerets, 18 kilometres of groomed trails for classic style and skating are available for free. Equipment can be rented at several sporting goods stores, while the Tourist Office provides information on opening hours for the trails.
From the village, a variety of loops take beginners and advanced skiers across fields and through forests. A longer route connects Les Diablerets and Vers-L’Eglise.
If these trails are closed due to adverse snow conditions, Glacier 3000 takes over. At an altitude of 3,000 metres, a 7-kilometre trail welcomes cross-country skiing enthusiasts in a spectacular, lunar-like landscape.

VILLARS – GRYON
Villars-Gryon boasts almost 50 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails spread across four sectors, with routes for classic and skating style. Starting at Col de la Croix, Golf de Villars, Les Frasses, Les Chaux or Cergnement, you can be sure to find a route that suits you. And for refreshments, simply take a break at one of the nearby huts or mountain restaurants.

Equipment can be rented at several sporting goods stores, while specially trained instructors offer lessons for beginners.

A cross-country ski pass (daily, weekly, seasonal) is required. It can be purchased at tourist offices and sports shops.

LES PLANS-SUR-BEX
A few kilometres from Bex, Plans-sur-Bex provides a delightful setting for a unique cross-country skiing experience. The 7-kilometre trail is partially lighted at night (2.5km) and groomed on a weekly basis. A friendly mountain inn invites you to relax and refuel.
A cross-country ski pass (daily, weekly or seasonal pass) is required. It can be purchased at Café de la Gare in Bex or at Relais Fermier in Plans-sur-Bex.
