The museum is a unique conservation site located in a superb old flour mill powered by a water wheel that is still in working order. The old mill's facilities have been preserved so that it remains functional.
It has one of the richest collections in Switzerland, with over 2,000 items tracing the history of agriculture and its practices. In the Nyon region, at the Moulin de Chiblins in Gingins, on the banks of the River Asse, old vehicles, machines and tools trace the evolution of agricultural mechanisation from the 18th century onwards.
