La Forclaz - Night skiing

Skiing under the stars…For those who always want to just keep on going, you can even ski at night in La Forclaz !

The Forclaz skilift, opposite the village of Le Sépey, offers an unusual opportunity: downhill skiing under the stars and by the light of the moon. No worries if the sky is overcast, the piste is also floodlit for the whole of the 800m long descent.

To unwind after a hard day’s work, Forclaz’s downhill piste is open to both skiers and snowboarders in the evenings. It’s also an ideal piste to organise a slalom race. By the light of a headlamp it immediately takes on a whole new perspective.

To keep the evening going in a convivial atmosphere, the Pont Baillif café in La Forclaz hosts special fondue evenings. The scenario of who lost their piece of bread will be a sidetrack of a different kind !
