Nyon wine cellar
The Nyon wine cellar is located in an exceptional location: a vaulted cellar in the Château de Nyon.
With its 270 hectares, the Nyon appellation is the second largest in the canton of Vaud. About fifteen winegrowers produce a wide variety of white or red wines there. However, as in the rest of the canton of Vaud, it is the Chasselas white grape that dominates production, as well as the Gamay and Pinot Noir reds.
To discover them, amateurs meet at the Nyon wine cellar, open from Tuesday to Sunday, depending on the schedule. In the exceptional setting of the castle cellar, the vaulted stone walls create an authentic atmosphere conducive to tasting various wines and local specialties.
A small menu of local dishes and tapas is available for small appetites.
Practical informations
From Monday to Thursday, on request, the cellar can be booked for groups of up to 50 people for private events, from aperitifs to banquet-caterers
