Open day at the Swiss National Stud Farm

Agroscope, Swiss National Stud (SNS) is inviting you to discover their work with horses, learn about their craftsmanship and gain an insight about the equine research at this unique, historic location in Switzerland.
This year's event will take place on Wednesday, 30 July 2025, starting at 3 p.m.
The event will open with an insight into current research projects and the stud’s workshops. The afternoon will then be rounded off with a demonstration of the versatility of the Franches-Montagnes stallions in the main courtyard.
The breeding associations of the Franches-Montagnes horse (FSFM/SFV) and the Swiss Sport Horse (FECH/ZVCH) will also feature in the presentation, as well as the FM Young Breeders.

3–5 p.m.: Open workshops and insights into our research projects
5–7 p.m.: Presentation of the horses in the main courtyard
